When?

We do what we can to get by

But it seems like nothing goes our way

We try harder and do more things to try to do better

But things go the other way

People say that things happen for a reason

When do those things happen for the good?

I don't understand how some people have all the luck

When is it our turn?

And I know some people have it worse than we do

But we still wonder when our lives will turn around for the better

If God could give us a sign and let us know which path to take

It would make things so much easier

I guess that's part of life and it's what we have to do: live and learn

It's just depressing feeling like you seem to go the wrong way

And you always wonder when it will go our way

Can someone tell me when?

Beautiful days

What do I want to do when there is a beautiful day?

Run outside, take a walk, enjoy the beautiful day, and have fun with the kids.

There haven't been a lot of beautiful days lately

Rain and storms that cause depressing thoughts and being couped up

Today is one of the beautiful days though

Nice and warm with plenty of sunshine!

No more floods to wash our lands away

Just sunshine to dry them out and clean up the mess

We were lucky and don't have it so rough

But some were not so lucky and have a bigger mess

Let these beautiful days dry up all the rain

And put us all in better spirits
